An all ages event with a $20K payout sanctioned by the KCBS, the Ozarks BBQ Fest is among the largest barbeque event held annually in Springfield, MO. With a $10 entry that give you access to plenty of samples, live music, and vendors its a must attend event for anyone in the St. Louis area.
The upcoming event is scheduled for April 22-23, 2022 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.
With a free ticket to ride and over 18K lbs. of delicious BBQ to go around, the Q in the heart of St. Louis is another beloved annual event. You can expect a non-stop festive time of eating and great music throughout the event's three days span.

Authentic St. Louis BBQ begins with the Civil War and Missouri's culture at the time. The majority of barbeque St. Louis is known for comes from African Americans, many of whom where enslaved at the time cooking out of literal "BBQ pits", which was a practice that was passed down to them for native Indians. This section is dedicated to the history, but also the people who currently contribute to the evolution of Missouri's' BBQ, and of course the great eateries throughout St. Louis and it's surrounding cities.
